G-Route ("the Extension") is a browser extension that helps users automatically switch between Google accounts. This privacy policy explains how we handle your data.

We do not collect, store, or transmit any personal data to external servers.

The Extension operates entirely locally within your browser.

Data Usage

The Extension accesses the following data solely to provide its functionality:

1. Google Account Information

What: Email addresses and display names of your logged-in Google accounts
Why: To let you assign specific accounts to different Google services
Where stored: Locally in your browser's sync storage (chrome.storage.sync)
Shared with: No one. This data never leaves your browser.

2. Browsing Activity (Limited)

What: URLs of Google service pages you visit
Why: To determine when to switch accounts based on your preferences
Where stored: Temporarily in memory during navigation
Shared with: No one. No browsing history is recorded or transmitted.

Permissions Explained

The Extension does not integrate with any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services.

Data Security

All data is stored locally using Chrome's built-in storage APIs. If you use Chrome Sync, your preferences may sync across your devices through Google's secure infrastructure.

Your Rights

You can:

View your data: Click the extension icon to see your saved preferences
Delete your data: Use the "Clear" button in the extension popup, or uninstall the extension
Disable the extension: Toggle off the "Global Enable" switch at any time
